Hello! :yo:
Are you new to coupon trading? Well no need to worry about how to get started, we all were at new at it once! :)
Do you have coupons you don't need? Are you looking for coupons you do need?
Well let us tell you how to begin the journey of coupon trading...
FSOT (for sale or trade) forum (http://havecouponswilltravel.com/forumdisplay.php/87-For-Sale-or-Trade): This is where you will find who to trade with and what they have to offer!
ISO (is seeking out) forum (http://havecouponswilltravel.com/forumdisplay.php/121-Is-Seeking-Out): This is where you will find a list of people who are looking for a particular coupon, insert, etc. So if you have hot inserts and are not using them, you might wanna check here to see if anyone is asking for them and do a trade!
Wishlist forum (http://havecouponswilltravel.com/forumdisplay.php/122-Wishlists): This is where you will find members wishlist. A wishlist is basically a list of coupons that member either wants, or coupons they use a lot. It's a good idea to have a wishlist for several reasons. 1) it shows people what you are looking for 2) you are able to join a train 3) people can view your wishlist and if they have coupons to trade, they are able to contact you!
Train forum: (http://havecouponswilltravel.com/forumdisplay.php/101-Coupon-Trains)This is where you will find coupon trains. A train is where members on the board sign up and then each week or biweekly you mail coupons to another members. Right now we currently have a wishlist train (http://havecouponswilltravel.com/showthread.php/13236-Wishlist-Express-Train!!-Matchups-for-5-30-posted!) going, where you send coupons from other members wishlist. A train is a good idea if you get a lot of coupons and only use certain ones, perhaps someone on your train can use the ones you're not or vise versa!
ROAK (random acts of kindness) forum: (http://havecouponswilltravel.com/forumdisplay.php/148-RAOKs) This forum is where you will find some people randomly giving away coupons, or anything else, just for fun or because they just wanna help out. We have such friendly people here at HCWT!
Printable forum (http://havecouponswilltravel.com/forumdisplay.php/141-Printable-Coupons): Here you will find a LOT of great coupons that are able to be printed. Remember most of the time by hitting the back button you can print two of the same coupon. Many people link printable coupons to their wishlist and if you don't have use for printing that coupon for yourself, you can always print it and trade with someone else!
Also, if you need help with the acronyms or abbreviations (http://havecouponswilltravel.com/showthread.php/4626-Acronyms-and-Abbreviations?highlight=abbreviations), here are two great links to commonly use abbreviations (http://havecouponswilltravel.com/showthread.php/969-Commonly-Used-Abbreviations-amp-Acronyms)!
Trading can be overwhelming, but we hope that with this list, you will have a greater understanding about how to go about it. Also, please don't ever hesitate to ask questions. You can post in the Contact the Crew (http://havecouponswilltravel.com/forumdisplay.php/176-Contact-The-Crew) thread or you can contact any MOD or ADMIN, as well as our great members. We are all here to help YOU save and have the best time doing it!
