So I read today that catalina's will print when corresponding to the regular price of an item, instead of the sale or coupon price (ie: but $25 worth of product, get $10 off your next purchase).

Is this true for all cats or does it vary from store to store? I mainly shop at Fry's, Target, Wags, and CVS. We have a Safeway and Albertson's nearby but I've heard not everything prints from there (though I have never experienced this myself). Or am I completely misinformed?

Thank you :)

I have heard that this works at some stores. I am not sure if it would work at all stores though. I know I have heard Kroger and Jewel. I would seriously doubt Walgreens, but again not positive. Hopefully someone that shops the other stores will have a better answer for you. :)

yup depends on the store- and sometimes even the deals. If you have noticed, many of these deals have changed from buy $xx amount to buy 4 items to get the deal!

We have a Giant Eagle here. If the card is in the ad, it goes by shelf price. No card image in ad, sale price. It depends on the store and sometimes wording in the ad.

Where I live it is usually always from the register price. So that would be regular price or sale price whichever is the current price on each item. Promotional prices and coupons don't count. (Promotional pricing is $ off # of items purchased, example: buy 8 get $4 off). If coupons count they usually specify that in the ad.

But honestly, it's usually a hit or miss proposition. I try it and if it works great, if not I go back and recalculate. I usually start out with regular price unless I know for certain otherwise.

At Wags it varies from deal to deal but unless noted it is Regular price. Walgreens sponsered deals such as $5.00 of $25.00 is normally after coupons.
