My step-father is back in the hospital...He's Home!!

He went to his heart dr. yesterday and they admitted him to the hospital. He had been to his regular dr on Tuesday because of pressure in the lung area and not being able to breathe well. He referred him to his heart doc and they are not real sure what is going on. More x-rays should reveal if it is pneumonia or they think it could be a pocket of fluid on the outside of his lung. They started him on a Lasix shot and by last night Mom seemed to think he was doing better. There is a new procedure that they can perform to fix a bad valve that he has, but it means going to Nashville or Atlanta. He told my mom and the doctor that he wanted to spend the time he has left with the heart that he has and if the Lord calls him home, he is ready. If you could say a prayer for him and mom, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks, guys! I just got off the phone with mom and he had a better day today. Still giving him Lasix shots and he isn't coughing near as much. They will be doing more testing on Monday, I think they just wanted him there where they can keep an eye on him. I will keep the post updated when I hear news.

He got to come home yesterday and we are so very thankful! It was congestive heart failure and they are changing meds to hopefully help with this condition! Thanks for all of your prayers and good thoughts!
