I seem to be having a hard time keeping trash bags and paper plates in the house. seems like when there is a sale I dont have coupons or when I have coupons I cant find a sale. Anyone else have this problem? What items do you have trouble with and what do you do ?

Melissa, I wait until Wags runs their brand of trash bags on sale for 2.99 and try to roll it in as a filler for sales that week. They are very good trash bags!

I have items that are hard to stockpile also. I try to use overage or register rewards to purchase them. It doesn't always work out that way, but I figure the money I am saving on the other items helps out. :)

I try to do the same thing- wait until there is a mm deal at Rite Aid, etc. I also buy the kind where you tie the top of the bag together, not the cinch sak type, as you get almost double the bags for the same price!

I am a spoiled brat when it comes to trash bags  My son in law's ex wife's husband or you can call him my daughter's ex sister in law's husband (haha Arkansas) and my ex daughter in law's new husband both work at a plastic manufacturing company, they bring me 50lb rolls of huge trash bags that are super thick! These bags are so tough that my husband uses them to put his deer in when he is hunting!!!!!!!

Kelly I know what you mean about that my brother used to work for a paper supply company about 8 yrs ago. I had so much printer paper it was awesome. I just had to start buying some about 2 months ago. I think it lasted me 6 yrs. LOL it was great!!! but all good things must come to an end. I was spoiled and I knew it .

I like Heather and the others try to use the Profit to get these Items. If I have a lot to get I look at Generating profit in RRs, stash them and then burn them on what I need once I have a pile of them. I also have no problem with just buying them right out. As Heather said Yoiu save a lot on the other things knowing that those savings are not always there so bite the bullet and get them when you need them and if it is an item that does not go on sale often I still try to stock it.

Me too Wendy it just seems crazy that we have to spend money on something we are just putting garbage in. Of course I have issues with toilet paper and kitty litter, too.

Yeah shipping would be a killer, but really, a roll of these bags lasts me about 4-6 months and I change the trash EVERY day! It would be an awesome prize!

I use to buy Bounty paper towels. In the last 2 - 3 years, I've found that Drug Store paper towels are just as good. CVS brand is similar to Marcal Small Steps.

Spill the beans Kelly What are they?

They are huge industrial sized rolls made by a plastic manufacturing company here in my area.....I have been on this roll I have now for about 2 1/2 months and it is not even halfway through. I would say they are 55 gallon and they are clear.
