I'm thankful for COFFEE.... We got home from the concert at 12:30 and we didn't fall asleep right away and I was up at 7am... Coffee is saving my life.

What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for Dr Romney Anderson, who is right up there with God for me! He is the miracle worker orthopedic surgeon that has reconstructed both of my husbands completely blown away legs from other peoples body parts. He is one of the highest rated orthopedic surgeons in the world and with over 20 years in the Army, he could easily get out and make millions a year in the private sector, but instead stays in and takes care of our nation's finest- putting them back together again! The following picture is an ad for the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons (this one is in Sports Illustrated this month, but is in dozens of other mags too) celebrating Dr Anderson and his amazing work. They asked him a few months ago to pick one of his patients to do this ad with and he picked my husband who he calls his "hero" (they love each other!) and his masterpiece! My husband is holding the picture of the dr. :)

Delissa: What a fantastic story and doctor! What a sacrifice your husband has made for our country.

I'm thankful for him and all of the other men and women in our military who put themselves in harms way each and every day to do what's right and to protect our freedom.

Please let him know how much he is appreciated.

I'm thankful for my mental health. Some people are just plain CRAZY. I still have some of my sanity left and I'm SO thankful for it. :becky:

No, because of the exposure over the video we had just done for the Joint Task Force they didn't show his face. Their main focus was to show a hero, hence the prominent purple heart, cane, and uniform. There was an article in the AAOS magazine, but this picture is just an ad. It's in over a dozen magazines (mostly male or health related) right now. This one I took from Sports Illustrated this month. On my facebook page is a pic they shot of him in uniform (with his head :)) from the same series and photographer.
