OK....I have been planning this one for a few months and praying for good weather.....my prayer was answered. Absolutely gorgeous today with high of 80 degrees!!! Way above normal for this time of the year. This sale was at my mom's church and they rented booths to outsiders or church members, while they were also making apple butter. I had rented two - eight foot tables for all my stockpile. Today was just great!!! I started at 8:00 and stopped at 1:00 and made a little over 400.00!!! Yipee!!! Let me list what sold out: deodorant, 3 pk of Dial and Ivory soap, Wisk laundry det., Xtra laundry det., Gain dish det., Thermacare 1pks., Body Wash (men & women), Mustard, BarBQ sauce, Twizzlers, Knee High hose, WetOnes, Glade Sense & Spray, Airwick and Lysol, Pencils, shaving cream, all but a few of the Bic Soleil, Shampoo, Carmex lotion, Nyquil and Benadryl. Slow movers was the mens Fusion, packs of ink pens (had these priced at .50? would have thought they would be a sell-out) plastic folders (.10 ea.) Infusion hair treatment and hair conditioners. I also took some purses (priced at 2.00) and sold 4, Quick Cooking magazines priced at .50, sold none of those??? Some household stuff and all of it sold. I think that's about it. They have already asked me if I would please come back next year!!!

Of course I had a great time because my mother and stepfather were there and I have visited this church on many occasions for my mom. She is very well thought of there and volunteers for everything!!

All in all, I came back home with two full small totes and lots and lots of empty totes!!!

Great job! I'm looking to sell from my stockpile also.

I'm planning a sale the 22nd and 23. I was going to have it next weekend but DH said that was a date weekend with no kids. Um, this mamma could use a break so pushed the sale back another week. My friend is also going to sell some things with me. I thought that the weekend of the craft fair in my town would be a good selling point, especially since I will be selling craft, scrapbooking and beads. Might work out for the better for us, as my friend is making a bunch of beaded christmas ornaments and window charms.

Sorry to hijack.
