I am bummed. I was all excited to go to Hen House this evening as they have had a huge General Mills sale going on all week. Only I get there and they have limited the sale to one offer per rewards card, per day. Yuck! I wasn't going to go completely crazy but I did want to take advantage of some of the great deals. I asked customer service why they limited it and they said that the first day of the sale was CRAZY. They had one shopper who did 95 offers in one transaction so they immediately went to the limit. Once again, greed hurts everyone! As my little grandson says "dag-nab-it."

Anyway, I was at least able to do one of the GM offers and I just had to share my little trip:

I'm in the Kansas City area. Hen House Markets are a local chain of stores here in the KC metro area (only 12 locations). They are BEAUTIFUL upscale grocery stores (usually pretty pricey too!) that are owned by the same people who own a lot of our local Price Chopper stores. I think overall that they are usually more expensive than the typical grocery store but they are the only ones around here that double coupons (up to $0.50) so if you can hit a good sale it's usually worth the trip. There is one about three blocks from where I work so it's really convenient for me to stop in.

We had a Price Chopper here but it left last year. The stores sound really nice :)
