Hope awoke the next morning ready to go with a renewed energy, she had all the lunches packed and breakfast ready, scooted the children out the door to school and gave Jimmy a kiss as she flew out the door. Her days on the job became easier and easier even though she still needed to deal with these coupon toting fools on a regular basis. She did not like that part of the job but understood that she needed to do it so she did. As the weeks went on Hope was slowing down, not getting the house work done, dinner was late from time to time and it was getting harder and harder to keep up. Jimmy seen what was happening but he had no idea what to do to change the situation. He was hurt but continued to work hard looking for all of the hours he could get at work.
Those crazy couponers become a routine for Hope. She tried to stop them but always had to give in to keep things moving. She had all but given up on trying to understand these coupon carrying fools until one late fall afternoon when a man carrying a plan white envelope walked in the door. He quickly moved through the store and appeared at the front register in front of Hope in what seemed to be just seconds carrying only a few items and that white envelope. He politely asked to do two transactions which Hope agreed to. He separated his few items into two small transaction and informed Hope of the order he would like the transactions ran. Hope quickly scanned the first transaction was handed two coupons which scanned with out a problem. When Hope hit the total button she nearly fell over when the total came up to $0.03. The man smiled and then presented his second transaction with the same quick results. He paid with the rewards that printed and a few cents from his pocket and then quickly disappeared out the door after a smile and a Thank you. Hope was at a loss of words she had never seen any thing like this and never thought she would ever see something like this carrying coupons. At dinner that evening her and Jimmy discussed the event and came to the conclusion that it was a fluke and she would never see it again.
As time passed Hope seen more and more of this coupon carrying stranger, each time he moved quickly, quietly and trouble free. On occasions he would stop to help a customer as if he was an employee. Taking a few moments to point out a deal then reaching into that envelope and handing the customer a coupon. Didn’t seem to matter much who the customer was and the funny part was that the customer that received the coupon also seemed to receive his smile with that coupon. They always left a little happier than when then entered the store. One day a customer that was in line in front of him was having trouble making a transaction work, he quietly asked the customer to see her coupons reached into his envelope and pulled out a coupon and handed it to the lady in front of him. She than ran the transaction cleanly and saved a little more than she expected. He handed her a business card and smiled and asked the lady to contact him if she needed any other help. A few days later this same lady came back in to the store carrying a plain White Envelope, She moved through the store and quickly appeared at the register to execute a clean transaction and paying with a little pocket change. Before the customer could leave the register Hope asked the lady Who was that man that helped her the other day. She smiled and replied a very nice man, He saved me a couple of dollars that day and since that he has shown me how to work this coupon magic myself. She pulled a piece of paper out of her purse and wrote down “StlCouponWizard.com and suggested that I check it out.
Hope had remembered how Jimmy reacted when they had first talked about these coupon carrying fools but this was not one of those and she had to see what this man had to say and how his magic worked. Hope rushed home as she always did, greeted the children, prepared dinner and completed her chores quickly. This night though she sat in the den after dinner on the computer looking at this mans web site. She was amazed at what she found, He couldn’t type worth a damn, now and then there would be a four letter word which were spelled correctly and even with all of that he was able to get his message across. His advice was simple, Use your resources not your precious time, Make a plan and stick to it, and help others and they will help you and most of all smile and never forget that you use coupons for the well being of your family.
