Eagle Cam
I saw this on a friend's FB page, I grew up right next to the Duke Estate in Hillsborough NJ, so I thought this was pretty cool...when I was young, my mom used to take me through the grounds on the way home from shopping in Somerville, it is such a beautiful place!
http://www.ustream.tv/channel/eagle-cam
Located on the 2700 acre Duke Farm property in Hillsborough, this eagle nest with the same mating pair has been observed on the farm since 2005. In 2008 a camera was setup by Duke Farms in a neighboring sycamore tree 110 feet up, capturing footage of nesting seasons in 2009 and 2010. This camera permits the public to get a unique glimpse of the nesting, feeding and fledgling of Bald Eagles in NJ.
Duke Farms in Hillsborough, N.J., is one of the largest privately-owned parcels of undeveloped land in the state. The mission of Duke Farms is to serve as a model of environmental stewardship and inspire visitors to become informed stewards of the land. You can assist us with our habitat regeneration efforts by volunteering. To see a list of current educational volunteer opportunities, or to learn about our nature programs and tours, please visit www.dukefarms.org./
Camera notes
If you see a dark screen with the white lettering in the bottom left corner, the camera isn't down, it's merely too dark for the camera to make an image (this usually happens at dusk). If you see a swirling circle in the center of the screen, the computer that streams the video footage is down/suffered an error or ustream has made an error.Last edited by KellyMarie; 04-11-2011 at 06:12 AM.

Hahhaha I'm such a dork...I'm watching and she is messing with the part of her nest in front of her. Then she stares right at the camera like she is saying "Hey while you're just sitting there staring at me wanna help with this?" hehe

KellyMarie, et al, I found the eagle nest video live stream in Ohio and they just recently hatched 3 chicks. They have some of the clips of the chicks hatching. I've seen feeding chicks, cracked eggs, wobbly chicks, changing of guards of mom & dad eagle. It's really neat. When you have the kids around, put it on full screen and just let it stream live. They kids'll learn lots. The Ohio nest is 5 to 6' across and 5 to 6' deep and is in a tree 80 feet up. The nest weighs 1.5 tons. Fantastic.

So cool Vera

We actually have eagles here at the farm but I have no clue where they are nesting, they do however, soar through each day and there is one huge one that rests about 100 feet from the house in a tree down by the creek
