Thanks guys! I was hoping I would stick with it. It seems I am over the hard part and my hair looks and feels much better. I'm not gonna lie, there were time when I really wanted to use shampoo but I talked myself out of it. I just hope my experience might help someone else who wants to go shampoo free.

I have been thinking about this a lot lately, the shampoo thing, and I remembered something. My father had snow white hair like mine, but it was super baby soft, his turned white in his early twenties like mine did. He only ever washed his hair with a bar of Ivory soap after it turned white, nothing else, ever. We had well water and he swore that the Ivory soap kept it shiny and soft. We are on a well and I recently started letting my hair turn back to white. A couple weeks ago I went to the salon and had all my hair cut off so the color would be completely gone. I just have a tiny bit left on the ends in the back. Maybe I should try the Ivory soap thing and see what happens.
Dad used to keep his hair extremely long until he went to work in the nuclear plants, then he started having it cut a bit. He never used conditioner, just the bar soap. Gosh, I forgot how soft his hair was, he has been gone nearly 10 years now.

It's worth a try. You never know what might work for you until you try it, but remember, you might have an adjustment period.
