How do you wrap your gifts?
I hate store bought wrapping paper, I love using brown paper!! I use cloth ribbons to wrap them up in and sometimes if time allows I stencil designs on the paper.
I take glues stick and draw designs on the paper and then shake glitter on it, I stick foam cut outs...just whatever I think will be cute.
Does anyone else wrap with brown paper?
Country Living Magazine has a great slideshow online with some really cute gift wrap ideas:

Wow- you are ambitious! I get my wrapping paper so cheap, that is what i use. We also have "Santa" paper that si only used for the kids gifts! I spend an evening locked in a room wrapping- Luckily I was able to get most of it done this weekend when Marty had the kids at his parents! My older girls still like to be surprised, and because we have a 4 yo, still "act" like the y believe. Makes Christmas all the better!

Mymom always said that even the cheapest gift would mean so much more if presented with love....many Christmases we had to go way cheap with the family and so I always took my time to "present" the presents as beautifully as I could

I get my wrap at target when it is 90% off.
I wrap on Christmas eve, I need to rethink that as I age I need to sleep!

I do use store bought paper, but I don't use bows. Got tired of those things getting smashed all the time, instead I buy cutouts at Michaels that are Christmasy. There are trees, gingerbread men, candy canes, etc. They peel and stick and I write their name on with a fine point sharpie.

Aww Kelly that sounds adorable. Natt loves to wrap them in old newspaper, specially like the comics, I think its cute.
I usually wrap them in store bought just cause I find it cheap or whatever... however we have done like plain paper and made bows and such.
Love the site you listed
Cute ideas!

DH is wrapping presents right now...Not as good as mine, if I do say so myself, but hey...gives me a minute to be on here!

Kelly - Love your idea except the glitter - I despise glitter...just gets everywhere...
